Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all MAY Studio products and services. When taking products and services you automatically (tacitly) agree to these terms. If you object to these conditions, you can make this known in writing during the reservation. MAY Studio reserves the right to change information on the website at any time, concerns rates, (album) options and agreements, without prior notice. When booking MAY Studio for a wedding photo shoot, the agreed price is fixed.
1. Cost and payment
* Excluding any travel costs: € 0.35 per km from zip code 6811GB.
* If parking costs are incurred during the assignment, this will be included in the invoice passed on.
* MAY Studio is exempt from VAT pursuant to Article 25 of the VAT Act.
Wedding:
* When booking the wedding date, a deposit of €500 will be charged. The bridal couple has a payment term of 14 days after the invoice date. If after this date the deposit has not yet been made, the assignment can be declared dissolved.
* The second invoice is for the remaining amount of the wedding photography and, if applicable, the base costs for the wedding album and the sending costs. This invoice will be sent within a week after the wedding.
* In case of choosing extra options for the wedding album (extra pages, other photo paper, embossing, and/or a custom storage box), there will be sent a third invoice.
* The wedding photographs (and the album) will be delivered upon receipt of full payment. If the bridal couple does not pay on time, MAY Studio may suspend its obligations until the customer has fulfilled his payment obligation.
Photoshoot:
* The invoice will be sent after the shoot and has a payment term of 14 days. After payment the photos will be delivered.
2. Delivery
* The final selection of photos will be delivered to you in high resolution in .JPG, after careful post-processing.
* The original photos in RAW are not shared.
* The photos will be sent by email (Wetransfer) and/or an online gallery.
* The online gallery will be available for three months. MAY Studio will send a reminder before it’s unavailable.
* MAY Studio only uses estimated delivery times, unless otherwise agreed.
Wedding:
* The photos are delivered within 28 days. In the high season it can take up to 7 weeks.
* The small gift album will be delivered two weeks after the delivery of the photos.
* The Professional album will be delivered four weeks after the delivery of the photos, provided that the bridal couple indicate their 60 (or more) favorite photos in time, by means of giving hearts in the gallery.
Photoshoot :
* The photos will be delivered within 14 days after payment is received.
3. Cancellation
Wedding:
* In the event of cancellation, the deposit of €500,- will be retained by MAY Studio, as a compensation for keeping the date free.
* The bridal couple can only cancel the assignment in writing.
* In the case of a wedding shoot where, due to unforeseen circumstances, MAY Studio is unable to fulfill the agreement in person, it will ensure, to the extent reasonably possible, a replacement photographer.
Photoshoot:
* In the event of cancellation of the agreement, the following terms and amounts apply:
- After booking 25% of the total amount due
- Within 4 weeks before the photo shoot 50% of the total amount due
- Within 1 week before the photo shoot, 100% of the total amount due
* Weather conditions are yellow valid reason for a cancellation, but the date can be rescheduled in consultation.
* In the event of a photo shoot where MAY Studio is unable to meet the agreement in person, she will plan a new date in consultation.
4. Portrait right
* MAY Studio has the right to use the images for its own promotional purposes, including (not limited to), the website, portfolio, social media and in printed matter.
* MAY Studio may use photos for photo contests and publications in magazines.
* It is not allowed to post photos on the internet in a different processing (crop, colors, contrast, etc.) than those supplied by the photographer, unless in consultation permission has been given.
5. Attribution
* Photos may only be made public under clearly mentioning the name of MAY Studio.
* Publishing the photos on social media is only allowed with explicit source reference based on name and website https://www.maystudio.nl/.
